Scott Wittlin advises and assists businesses on a wide range of issues facing small businesses and has formed corporations, partnerships, limited liability companies and tax-exempt organizations. Mr. Wittlin also focuses on the corporate and tax aspects of commercial real estate transactions; including 1031 real estate exchanges, often through tenancy in common arrangements. He also negotiates and drafts joint venture agreements to enter into commercial real estate purchases throughout New England.
In addition, Mr. Wittlin helps individuals with estate plans that take advantage of tax benefits and maintain flexibility for the donors and beneficiaries. He also assists with the probate and administration of estates.
Mr. Wittlin also represents real estate developers in connection purchase and development of office, retail and multi family properties. He handles the acquisition, title, zoning and condominium conversion of such properties. Mr. Wittlin represents national banks, mortgage companies and investors in real estate transactions.
Mr. Wittlin brings a breadth of experience to his practice. He began his career as a CPA and focuses on not only the legal needs of his clients but on their business needs. He has been an Adjunct Professor at the Babson MBA program and Suffolk's Sawyer School of Management.
