Stephen Salon is a trial lawyer who has tried innumerable cases before state and federal courts, administrative agencies, and arbitration panels. He joined Sassoon & Cymrot in May 2006 after running his own law firm for thirty-seven years.

Practice Areas
    Domestic Relations - Mr. Salon has an excellent track record in assisting his clients with complex divorce matters, and has tried numerous cases with issues involving real estate, business and other asset valuation, equitable division of assets, alimony and child support issues, custody of children, domestic violence, paternity, validity of prenuptial agreements, and modification of prior judgments.

    Criminal Matters - Mr. Salon, a seasoned criminal defense lawyer, has represented many individuals in internal investigations, pre-indictment counseling, criminal trials, and sentencing proceedings in cases involving white collar crime, drug offenses, and violent felonies.

    Civil Litigation - Mr. Salon has handled a wide range of complex civil matters, including business disputes, employment matters, personal injury and medical malpractice cases, and real estate disputes. His primary focus has been on representing plaintiffs in complex tort cases, including medical malpractice. .

    General Matters - As the proprietor of a small firm for many years, Mr. Salon has advised his clients on a wide range of general issues, including contract negotiation, structuring business and real estate transactions, and a broad range of business consulting.
Education:

Mr. Salon received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Massachusetts in 1964, and a Juris Doctor from Boston University School of Law in 1967.
